Who We Are

We helped pioneer glass-flake coating.

For more than 35 years, Polyflake LLC has built vinyl-ester glass-flake coatings for infrastructure that can't afford to fail. We make every resin ourselves, at our own plant in the USA, and we mix each batch to order so it performs when it lands in the harsh marine, chemical and industrial settings it's headed for.

Polyflake® Coating Resin Systems

Our own vinyl-ester glass-flake resins, built to stop chemical, mechanical and galvanic corrosion across the full pH range, from acid to alkali. They've held up for more than 24 years in constant seawater.

Polyglyde® Hard-Coating (Hull) System

A hard-coating for the parts of the hull that stay underwater, built to last 25 years and more in constant seawater. Disney Magic and Disney Dream were the first ships to carry it in 2008, and both later had it taken across their full hulls and rudders.

Polytube® Reverse Lining System

In-place pipe rehabilitation for diameters from 2" to 24". We invert a structural fiberglass (GRP) liner into the existing pipe and cure it there, and it threads through elbows and tees on its own with nothing taken apart. We just remove a spool piece at each end for access. Up to 85% cheaper than replacing the pipe.

Workshop Services: Hydraulic & Mechanical

We recondition hydraulic cylinders and overhaul pumps at our Miami workshop. Equipment that's been written off as beyond repair often leaves running at factory spec or better, with full QA paperwork and traceable materials behind it.
